Teaching as a passion, started in 1986 with S.R.S.S college of Arts and Commerce, Andheri, Mumbai. Played a key role in developing the Department of Geography and continued there till 2006. Worked in various committees while teaching at S.R.S.S College of Arts and Commerce has given firm ground to understand various nuances of education administration, which provoked to take up new challenges, thus joined as Principal of J.M. Patel College of Commerce, Goregaon West, Mumbai. Worked there for 10 years from 2006 to 2016.
From there in the same year joined as Principal of L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce.
Worked in the various University appointed committees viz. member of the Steering Committee to prepare the Self Study Report for Assessment and Accreditation of the University by the NAAC in 2000, member of the Committee to prepare Draft guidelines in respect of Appointments of Teachers and other Academic Staff in colleges and the University as per the UGC Guidelines, 2010.
Participated in various academic conferences and symposiums. Presented five research papers in the national level conference along with seven research papers and a book published so far.
Nominated as a member of the Governing Body of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Bhavan’s College, Andheri (E), and Mumbai. Member of Board of Studies in Geography (2017-2022) of the University of Mumbai. Vice Chancellor’s Nominee to Board of Studies in Geography (2018-2021) at Nagindas Khandwala College (AUTONOMOUS), Mumbai.
Life members of various professional bodies such as the National Association of Geographers India (NAGI), Bombay Geographical Association (BGA), Indian Science Congress, Goa Geographers and Association of Indian College Principals (AICP). Visited eight countries so far.Excited to travel to new destinations. Reading, watching movies and listening to songs are the other areas of interest.
