At L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce (Autonomous), the Student Grievances Redressal Committee is a statutory committee. The objective of the committee is to facilitate redressal of students’ grievances and complaints. It examines the issue in a fair manner and recommend remedial measures. The Committee is headed by the chairperson followed by other senior faculty members of the college along with two student representatives. The procedure to be followed by the Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) shall be in accordance with the Students’ Grievance Redressal Regulations 2024 as published by the College and updated from time to time.
The college will respect the confidentiality of the individuals reporting and the accused to the maximum extent possible. Intentionally providing false information will lead to disciplinary action and a penalty will be levied on the complainant.
Objectives:
The main objectives of the SGRC are as follows:
• To examine students’ issues like harassment, hostile treatment or any other grievance which disturb the learning process of the
• To address and resolve various issues related to academic, administrative, infrastructure or any other matter that obliterate the College image.
• To encourage students to proactively lodge their complaints and maintain the confidentiality of the complainant.
